Texas Lads

1. Service Provider Disclosure


Texas Lads operates as a marketing and referral platform that connects customers with independent service providers offering air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, chimney cleaning, and related services throughout Texas. Texas Lads does not directly perform cleaning services and does not employ the technicians who complete the work.


All services are performed by independent contractors or partner service providers who operate their own businesses and are responsible for their own work practices, service methods, licensing (where applicable), insurance coverage, and compliance with applicable laws.


When a customer schedules service through Texas Lads, the service agreement for the actual work is between the customer and the independent service provider performing the service. Texas Lads assists with appointment scheduling, marketing, and connecting customers with service providers but does not act as the direct service provider.


2. Satisfaction Guarantee


Texas Lads aims to connect customers with qualified service providers committed to customer satisfaction. If a concern arises regarding completed services, the customer must allow the independent service provider who performed the work to return to the property for an on-site inspection within a reasonable timeframe.


If access for inspection or corrective service is denied, any satisfaction guarantee does not apply. If inspection confirms services were performed incorrectly or below the provider’s service standards, the service provider may offer corrective service or a partial refund for the affected portion consistent with the service agreement and applicable Texas law.


Limitations: This guarantee applies only to services performed by the independent service provider assigned to the job. It does not cover pre-existing damage, structural defects, HVAC design limitations, manufacturer defects, equipment malfunctions, or unrelated conditions.


3. Service Packages & Offers


Service names such as Air Duct Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Premium Package, or similar designations are service titles used for identification purposes. Package names do not represent standardized industry service levels and are used solely for service classification.


Service packages may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time. Current package details are explained during booking. Technicians may recommend additional services based on inspection findings, but no additional services will be performed without customer approval.


4. Promotions, Discounts & Advertised Specials


Promotions, coupons, and special offers may include restrictions and expiration dates. Promotions are valid only during the advertised period. Any promotion scheduled during its valid timeframe will be honored.


Promotions may not be combined unless expressly stated in writing. Advertised offers represent promotional entry pricing and may vary depending on system conditions, accessibility, system size, contamination level, or the scope of work required.


5. Additional Services


Additional services are not included in the original booking unless specified. Recommendations may be made on-site based on system condition, contamination level, or accessibility.


No additional service — free or paid — will be performed without written or electronic approval from the customer or authorized representative.


6. Payment Terms & Fees


Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing between the customer and the service provider.

Any applicable cancellation, rescheduling, trip, late payment, or declined payment fees will be disclosed before service and outlined in the service agreement or confirmation notice.


Service providers may decline or suspend future services for unpaid balances.


7. Estimates vs. Final Pricing


Prices provided by phone, website, advertisement, or text message are estimates only and are non-binding.

Final pricing may vary based on factors including:


• System size and layout
• Accessibility
• Level of contamination or buildup
• Number of vents or returns
• Approved additional services


The independent service provider performing the service will review final pricing and obtain approval before beginning any work.


8. Scheduling & Arrival Windows


Appointments are subject to technician availability. Preferred time windows are not guaranteed.

Arrival windows are estimates and may vary due to traffic, prior job conditions, weather, or unforeseen delays. Appointments may be rescheduled if necessary.


9. Property Access & Safety


Customers must provide safe and clear access to service areas. Service providers reserve the right to postpone or refuse service if unsafe or hazardous conditions exist, including:


• Aggressive pets
• Structural hazards
• Unsafe attic or crawlspace conditions
• Environmental or health hazards


10. Communication & Notifications


Service confirmations, reminders, and updates may be sent via phone call, text message, or email. Standard messaging rates may apply depending on the customer’s mobile carrier.


Texas Lads is not responsible for missed appointments due to incorrect or outdated customer contact information.


11. Service Results Disclaimer


Results may vary depending on system condition, prior maintenance, accessibility, and structural limitations. Complete removal of all dust, debris, mold, or odors is not guaranteed.


Services may improve airflow and indoor air quality but do not guarantee medical or health outcomes.


Texas Lads and the independent service providers do not perform mold assessment, mold remediation, medical advice, or environmental certification unless specifically licensed and contracted to do so under applicable Texas regulations.


12. Customer Property & Belongings


Customers are responsible for securing valuables, fragile items, electronics, artwork, and personal belongings before service.


Texas Lads and service providers are not responsible for damage to unsecured or improperly stored items.


13. Pre-Existing Conditions


Service providers are not responsible for issues arising from:


• Pre-existing system damage
• Improper HVAC installation
• Lack of maintenance
• Duct deterioration or collapse
• Mold growth beyond the scope of service


14. Third-Party Work Disclaimer


Texas Lads and service providers are not responsible for damage, system failures, or performance issues caused by prior contractors, manufacturers, builders, or other third parties.


15. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service


Service may be refused or discontinued if:


• Unsafe working conditions exist
• Technicians are subjected to harassment, threats, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior
• Payment terms are violated


16. Weather & Uncontrollable Events


Service appointments may be delayed, modified, or rescheduled due to severe weather, emergencies, supply shortages, traffic disruptions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.


17. Force Majeure


Texas Lads and service providers are not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to natural disasters, power outages, labor disruptions, governmental actions, public emergencies, or other events beyond reasonable control.


18. Limitation of Liability


To the fullest extent permitted under Texas law, Texas Lads shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.


Any liability, if established, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service performed. Nothing in this agreement limits consumer rights provided under Texas state law.


19. Photos & Documentation


Service providers may take before-and-after photos for documentation, quality control, and training purposes with customer consent.


Photos will not be publicly shared without written permission.


20. Service Area & Travel Charges


Additional travel or trip charges may apply outside the standard service area. Services are provided only within areas where partner service providers operate.


21. Independent Service Providers


Services arranged through Texas Lads are performed by independent contractors who operate their own businesses. These contractors are responsible for their own licensing, insurance coverage, service execution, and regulatory compliance where required by Texas law.


22. Insurance & Contractor Coverage


Independent contractors performing services are responsible for maintaining their own applicable insurance coverage and regulatory compliance. Customers may request proof of insurance directly from the service provider performing the work.


23. Licensing & Regulatory Status


Texas Lads connects customers with service providers offering air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, chimney cleaning, and related mechanical cleaning services.


These services do not constitute HVAC installation, structural repair, environmental testing, or mold remediation unless specifically stated in a separate written agreement and performed by properly licensed professionals where required by Texas law.


24. Chimney & Fireplace Services
Chimney and fireplace cleaning services are provided for maintenance purposes only. Service providers do not perform structural chimney repairs, engineering inspections, or building code compliance certification unless specifically contracted under a separate written agreement.
